Michael Davies-Venn of the University of Alberta has written a nice story Getting serious about global gaming about the recent symposium Re-Playing Japan. CIRCA was a co-sponsor of this one day symposium on Japanese games, industry, and education which brought together game studies researchers from Japan and Canada.
