CIRCA is pleased to announce its second event in this year’s speaker series:

– interfaces for the fine arts and humanities –

Scott Smallwood & Students, University of Alberta

Tuesday, October 22, 2013, 2:30-4:00pm Fine Arts Building (FAB) 2-7

For this CIRCA talk, students in Scott Smallwood’s KIAS-funded interdisciplinary course will present ideas around the theme of the course, which is called “Creating Interactive Interfaces for the Fine Arts and the Humanities.”  Students from Art and Design, Music, Drama, Humanities Computing, and others will be pitching their ideas for an project that involves interactive technologies of their own conception, to be presented in an exhibition at the end of the semester.  Students will make a quick “pitch” explaining their project, and will solicit feedback from attendees.
