Digital Urbanism

The Digital Urbanism Collaboratory is a place for people interested in the intersection and articulation of the urban with the digital; we see productive tensions between an interrogation of lived urban space and the mythic no-place of the digital.

The collaboratory will focus on the city as a cluster of contentious, contrasted or enclosed structures of living and will imagine concrete practices and devise creative tools to analyse and critically intervene in urban spaces. The collaboratory would welcome multi-media artists and practitioners, GIS projects and inquiries, urban theorists, and writers and literary critics to name but a few.
